That`s what I tried to do on the previous blog. The pictures do speak for themselves. But i do have to say soemthing bout the Salar. Absolutely mind blowing scenery so diverse and unique it was one of the best experiences on this trip so far. As those of you who are following my trip, who by the way could spend some energy and email back every once in a blue moon, I had ended my jungle trip with Stefan and our guide who I later remembered his name was Sandro. So after that Stefan and myself headed to La Paz, the unofficial capital of Bolivia, and crashed at Berit`s , Stefan`s girlfriend, apartement for a couple of days before heading out to Uynuni.
We finally did get to Uynui by a nightmare bus ride. In brief the first day was a taste of the biggest Salar in the world, visiting a couple of salt hotels, Isla del Pescatores spotted with massive cactus leaving time for us to be creative in our pictures thanks to the 2D effect you get on the salt flats. Then in the following 3 days as you can see in the pics the scenery varies from the dazzling white of the flats to multicououred lagoons to desert while enountering massive rock formations inexplicable cropping out of nowhere passing gysers and my favourite... natural thermal springs. And not just any thermal springs. Thermal springs at 4600m above sea level with outside temperature of -8 celcius...and we jumped in at 7 in the morning , sun still rising!! The rest You can see from the pics or else go and see for yourselves, I will promsie you won`t regret it...
